Here, at Lady Luck® Nemacolin, gaming isn't the only option available for guests, entertainment is also on the menu when looking for a night of fun. Every weekend you are sure to find local talent headlining at The Lone Wolf®.
Our PA pride brags about the talent from right here in our own backyard! From acoustic to ensemble we show love to our local talent with these weekend showcases. Get to know some of our upcoming acts for a more intimate show.
Here’s the schedule:
• Shelly McCombie, will perform on Friday, March 20. She is a long-time veteran of the regional country music scene, having performed for more than 35 years. She’s played to enthusiastic crowds in a variety of venues, and has repeatedly come out as a victor in the musical competitions throughout the local area. Her talents have placed her on the same bill as country superstars like Waylon Jennings, Toby Keith and Martina McBride. Much of that stature comes from the fact that Shelly’s versatility on stage is something to behold, with country classics on the same set list as iconic Motown tunes. That range is one reason why a local Pittsburgh magazine tabbed her as their #1 Female Country Vocalist.
• Red Lion Reggae will perform on Saturday, March 21, and they are for those with a yearn for the sounds of reggae. Hearing them offers their audience the chance to experience life in Jamaica without ever leaving the area. Red Lion Reggae has been a staple in the area and continues to offer a festive night of fun for its audience, providing a unique sound that will hold your attention.
• The Metro Band will be playing on Friday, March 27. Celebrating their silver anniversary in 2015, they have been wowing audiences since 1990 with a wide array of songs that come from different areas. How different? Their song list spans from ZZ Top, to Rihanna and everything in between, which means that everyone will have some fun. Longevity in the music business is something to be admired, since interests tend to come and go. However, the Metro Band has been able to accomplish this feat while still sounding as fresh as the day they began.
• The Janice Ray Band, here on Saturday, March 28, is a group that also offers a broad range of tunes that will satisfy the musical interests of people who want to hear classic rock. Together for less than four years, Janice and her band have made a dent in the regional music community, playing in all different sorts of places. Once the first note is heard at Lady Luck, fans will be up and ready to dance or just rock out to many memorable tunes. From the 1960s and beyond, the entertainment value Janice and her band bring is something that’s worth the price of admission.
You can come for the music, but stay for a bite while you’re here! Chili cheese fries, fried zucchini, country-battered chicken tenders and double-fried deep wings. If those haven’t satisfied the growling in your stomach, we have delicious sandwiches, wraps and salads. Once the sweet tooth kicks in, desserts, like the chef’s selection of cake or pie will be waiting on deck.
Whether it is food, entertainment or gaming you’re seeking, all three are part of the daily mix at Lady Luck Nemacolin. We will see you soon!
